How the OHC Same Day Clinic Queue works:

• The phones are a computer-based system.
• The phone lines open 30 minutes before every clinic.
• The queue holds twenty-five (25) callers and answers them on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• It cannot hold more as this would crash the system and increase the time spent on hold.
• As little as 1/10 of a second can be the difference between being first, second, or third in the queue.
• There is absolutely no prioritizing done by phone number, name, or manual selection.
